Last year I went out to Qatar and spent sometime photographing suburbia as it appears in the desert. I wanted to explore the identity of the space where the desert and the edge of suburban Qatar met. I explored this concept in London a few years back attempting to photograph the city mixing with the countryside (you can see images here)..
